Diario Libre, Dominican Republic leading morning newspaper, has recently launched an innovative technology that seems inspired in science-fiction movies.

This technology based on the use of digital watermarking is called CLIC2C and together with TEXT2C (keyword search engine) is allowing Diario Libre readers to immediately access enriched content on the internet linked to the printed images.

In a recent radio program, Claudia Defilló - Technology Sales Manager at Omnimedia-, and Francisco Cardarelli - Watermarking Embedding Manager at aquaMobile (owner of CLIC2C/TEXT2C applications) explained in detail how this technology works.
