Aquamobile contributes CLIC2C® technologies to the first interactive book by Guillermo Fesser’s
CLIC2C® technology, of the Spanish company Aquamobile, is one of the main characters of the tale written by Guillermo Fesser, one of the components of Gomaespuma duet, ‘El misterioso caso de los fantasmas solitarios’ (The mysterious case of the solitaire ghosts). Thanks to this technological tool, this is the first interactive childlike book in history, because the integration of invisible links to the Internet, video and multimedia elements on its illustrations, made by the cartoonist Victor Monigote.
Fesser will just be the entrusted to launch his book and Aquamobile’s CLIC2C® technology on Monday 27th at 12:00 hours. That has already received several prizes for its technologic labour, in the “Mobile World Congress” in it promotional stage placed into the ‘App Planet’ zone of the Fira de Barcelona (Hall 7, space 7B70).
New life for the paper that will compete with Internet
CLIC2C® technology, whole developed in Spain by Aquamobile (that will share its promotional zone with its ‘partner’ Digimarc Corporation), allows paper competing with internet by the integration of a digital mark in an invisible way into the images that sends to a web address in which all sort of contents can be stored. By focusing with the Smartphone or tablet cam towards any image marked with this technique, if this one is equipped with CLIC2C® application, the device will launch the browser to take you the URL and show the contents.
In this way, CLIC2C® is a tool that allows paper compete with computers by the alliance with the mobile devices for surfing the internet. In this case, the advantage is that the person watching CLIC2C® logo on any image, will know that by focusing his device on it, will be able to see a video, check statistics (sports, stock exchange...), or buy cinema tickets, concerts or any other kind of product. We must take in mind that a great part of the internet traffic is being already taken place since mobile devices and its trend is growing. Besides, Spaniards are the ones with more smartphones owning in Europe, with almost the 50% of the mobile park in the country, so that the CLIC2C® results for the e-commerce can be immediate and relevant.
Due to this technology, Aquamobile received on 2009 the worldwide prize 100 Global Red Harring, to the most promised startup –that in its moment would also got Google, Skype and eBay-, getting this way being the most innovative company worldwide (as well in Spain) in the sector of information digital marking.
Also to certificate documents
Besides CLIC2C® can be used to certificate all kind of documents, which allows giving invisible digital identity, persistent and so that nearly impossible to change for the different content formats, contracts and invoices, as well that increases the security of financial documentation, identity cards and digital images. Aquamobile will have its place into the Worldwide technology congress for mobile, Internet and multimedia from Monday on February 27th up to Monday on March 1st, where a wide quantity of products developed from CLIC2C® technology will be launched.
